HOW DO I GET STARTED?

After completing the contact form, I will reach out to you about setting up an appointment. If you prefer to first briefly discuss what you hope to get out of therapy, we can schedule a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation.  

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

I am an out-of-network provider. This means you are responsible for the full payment after each session. However, your insurance provider may reimburse you for your sessions. I will provide you with a superbill (receipt) in order for you to submit a claim for reimbursement. Before your first appointment, please contact your insurance provider directly to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.

Some helpful questions are:

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, how much has been met so far?

  • How much will be covered per session?

  • Do I need authorization?

  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions per year?

  • How do I submit receipts for reimbursement?

HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS?

Individual sessions are 45 minutes. EMDR sessions are 90 minutes.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept credit card, cash, check, and Zelle. No matter how you wish to pay, a valid credit card on file is required. Payments are made after each session.

HOW DO YOU MAKE THERAPY ACCESSIBLE DURING COVID-19?

Due to COVID-19, my practice is virtual only. I use a HIPPA-compliant platform called doxy.me to conduct sessions. It is important that you are able to take sessions in a confidential setting. Please contact your insurance company to ensure telehealth sessions are covered.

WHAT IS YOUR NO-SHOW/CANCELLATION POLICY?

Clients are charged the full session fee for any session missed or not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Please note, these fees cannot be reimbursed by insurance. If you are able to reschedule within the same week at a convenient time for both of us, your fee may be waived.
